In that second, when you can see your heartbeat… during that second between the time your thumb pushes the safety forward and when you squeeze the trigger, you can SEE your heartbeat as you look though the scope and the only thing moving is the crosshairs ever so slightly in unison with the blood pumping though your veins. You’re so focused in that second that every stress, worry, and struggle fades to the background.
